Dave Matson – Original Founder,  (started in business as DM Matson Concrete Construction in 1982) learned the concrete trade in the 1970’s during high school and college. He graduated from California State University at Sacramento with a BS degree in Business Administration (Accounting) in 1979. In 1991, he incorporated as a C Corp and changed the company name to DMCE Enterprises.  In addition to performing quality, timely installations of both commercial and residential concrete in Grass Valley, Nevada City, Penn Valley and surrounding areas, Dave acquired his A license in 1993, allowing him to remove and replace city sidewalk and do underground work, thus the current name, DMCE Concrete & Engineering Contractors. DMCE specializes in all aspects of Concrete and Engineering in Nevada County and is available to provide services in surrounding counties as well.
